Self-Guided Tour

#4

Our two most extensive tracks are seen here.  Because of the very close spacing of footprints, the track on the left is thought to have been made by two Iguanodons, possibly in a herd.  A bit farther along, you see a track with charcoal paint in each footprint.  The original owners of the site concreted in these tracks, a practice no longer followed.

Concrete eventually breaks off, taking some limestone with it and thereby deforming the footprint.
